Dr. Kiran Prajapati told that students from different schools and colleges
participated in Essay
Competition and told about demerits of
addiction and how we can control the addiction including the messages-
* Addiction make the
person weak
* To make the Country
prosperous and happy we have to permanently close all the shops and things related
to addiction
* We should take an oath
that we will never addict and also make other people aware about the bad
effects of addiction
* Addiction ruins the
individual, family, society and country too.
After
this Seminar organised, in which Dr. Shikha told about different types of addiction
like- alcohol, smoking, tobacco, sniffing(glue, medicines, acetone), abusing
medical drugs which destroy the whole human body and person suffers from number
of harmful diseases. She told drugs taken as injectable forms spread many fatal
viral diseases like- HIV, HCV & Hepatitis-B, which are very expensive and
near impossible to cure. Other ill effects caused
by addiction includes- cancer, colorless teeth, cough and cold, sleeplessness,
indigestion, baldness, headache, smoking patches, early ageing, nervousness,
tension, problem in breathing, high blood pressure, mental depression, etc.
Dr. Kiran Prajapati told that nowadays young
generation is following addiction just because of fashion and status symbol
whose future is dark. She told that Hukka Lounge and Bar Culture of this modernized
world is taking the youth to a darker tomorrow. She informed that any
type of addiction can be removed by determination and proper counseling.
All the participants took an expletive for a drug free
future. They even pledged to encourage others to omit habit of using sedatives,
narcotics and tranquilizers.
